The concept of anaglyph technology started in 1850 through the ability of the two Frenchmen Louis Du Hauron and Joseph D’Almeida. They made a great performance that amazes many audiences in the year 1858 when made up some coins to present a lantern slide show and use blue and red color to separate the colors while the audience wore red and blue like lenses of traditional 3d glasses. The resulting image is stereoscopic image which was never seen before and some audiences claimed to experience slight headache but they all want to view more.
Anaglyph technology did not stop there and people continued to demand watching more than just the flat images on the screen. The eyes will be tricked as the lenses filtered on the red will be viewed as white and the one in the blue will be black. The brain blends that perceived images together the illusion of depth is created. These are the old days for anaglyph technology.
